Suggestion For Maintaince Of Grand Power Battery
Always use petroleum jelly on Battery terminal.- Before using of batteries, please check cable connection.
- The top of battery must be kept clean and dry.
- Keep the vent plug tightly closed.
- A faulty electrical system will immediately damage the battery. Get your battery see regularly, preferable once a month.
- Terminal corrosion dirt and moisture cause loss of power and make the battery weak.
- To avoid the same the top of the battery must be kept clean and dry .
- The calls loose water during use and excessive loss can damage the plates. the level must be above the top of cell . Top up only with distilled water maintaining the level approx. half inch below the filling hole. Never add acid.
- A faulty electrical system always is the main reason for undercharging / overcharging which have immediate effect in damaging the battery plates permanently. Therefor in order to avoid such consequences get your fan-belt wiring (any internal short circuit), Dynamo (for generating current) Regulator / cut out (for accurate voltage /current setting) checked every month at least once in three month.
